Independent ethical accreditation

When LoCO2 Energy was founded, we not only wanted to offer a sustainable product but we also wanted to conduct our business in a sustainable manner.

We've always had an environmental policy, but it was important for us to undergo an objective assessment by independent experts to show to our customers, and potential customers, that we're more than just talk and meaningless marketing promises

The Ethical Company Organisation has awarded us with ethical accreditation, so we are proud to display their award.

Companies only receive accredited status if they score in the top 33% of companies within their sector. Accreditation covers 15 specific criteria under three headings of People, Animals and the Environment:

  • Environment: environmental reporting, pollution, nuclear power and other environmental issues.
  • Animals: animal testing, factory farming and animal rights.
  • People: oppressive regimes, workers' rights, irresponsible marketing, armaments.
  • Extras: genetic engineering, boycott calls, political activity and alerts.
